Are you tired of grand promises which always follow with “keep this ministry alive” and “pass the hat ($$)”? 

Forcefully the New Testament of Jesus warns us about greedy religious leaders.   Jesus spoke of scribes and Pharisees who without conscience exploited widows (Matthew 23:14 ).  The apostle Peter said those who were greedy would exploit those who have the same greed (2^nd Peter 2:1-3 ). 

When someone is saying “give, give abundantly to the Lord, but make your check out to me”, there’s something wrong!  The guilt trip some of these leaders lay on their followers is outrageous, even though it works over and over again.  

What must put them out of business by ceasing to contribute to their cause.  We should be tired of financing the pockets of self-serving religious leaders.

Your undying commitment must be to serve Jesus Christ, and not to enrich the greedy who deceitfully ask for it "in the name of the Lord."
