Are you tired of being treated as less intelligent or less spiritual than the “the clergy”?

This is a real put down.  Since when does the Bible set any distinction between the so-called “clergy” and the “laity”?

What this error in concept does, is to cause some to distrust themselves, and to trust others with answers of faith.  The Bible, on the other hand, instructs all people to understand (Ephesians 3:4 ).

The Bible instructs all people to have faith (Mark 16:15-16 ), and it instructs all people to be mature in faith (Ephesians 4:13-15 ). This doesn’t draw a line, as some would, between the religious hierarchy and the common members of a church.  Scripturally, there is no religious hierarchy.

Get this!  Even when there are different levels of intelligence among people, it NEVER correlates to degrees of faith.

There is no such distinction.  If you are tired of being considered less intelligent or less spiritual than the so called “clergy”, you should be.  It very well could be that your faith leaves them in the dust.  You are best served by following only Christ, and to fellowship only his disciples, which do not classify people in such ways.

You don't need religious leaders who "lord it over you" (1st Peter 5:3 ).  You need fellowship among Christians who serve each other (Romans 12:4-5, 16 ).
