Are you tired of hearing it doesn’t matter what you believe, but when it comes down to it, you need to “go along” with those in charge?

This plea, “It doesn’t matter what you believe” seems to solve unity issues, and it bespeaks tolerance. But have you ever noticed the constant power struggles and division among those who say “we need to agree to disagree”?  The truth is, those who offer a “come as you are” religion, do not allow every ones way to have a place in what goes on.   

We must admit it’s impossible for everyone to have their way. That’s why Jesus gave us the basis on which we are to have unity. (Ephesians 4:1-16 ) 

Jesus does not require us to unite in everything we believe, but he does require that we agree in some things.  We should require no more and no less than what is required in the New Testament of Jesus Christ for unity.
