Are you tired of gimmick religion, with antics and stunts designed to get you in the door? 

Gimmick religion insults the power of the Gospel of Christ.

When we are lured to worship God with that which is invented by men rather than that which God provides, it is wrong.  There were no popular bands, drama productions, or fish dinners used in the New Testament to attract newcomers.  What there was, was the truth of Jesus death, burial, and resurrection. (1^st Corinthians 15:1-3 )  This truth cannot be improved upon, and it certainly needs no supplement.  

But yet we see some people will only come if they get live entertainment, pot-luck dinner, or free day care.  Shall we resort to that?  No.  The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation, and the evangelizing of the Gospel must not be with that which appeals to the flesh, but rather to the spirit of man. (Romans 1:16; 1^st Corinthians 2:1-5 ) 

When a person is lured by a god of the belly to serve the God of Heaven, he is not there to serve the God of Heaven. (Philippians 3:18-19 )   This person will be fed with meat that perishes (John 6:26-27 ).

You need the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and nothing less.  Gimmick religion says the Gospel is not enough.  Gimmick religion is really what's not enough!
